Hey I just started playing Guildwars and I need some help please.
I did some qeusts and learned some things but I don't know where I can get better clothes and weapons, what skills are really usefull and if there is something like a bank where I can drop my stuff at because I have so many crafting stuff at this moment and what can u do with al this craft stuff?

Hope u guys can answer my qeustions and give me some tips please.

Which game (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall) did you start with? Also, what town are you in?

Bank: Xunlai Storage in every town. Pay 100g to open it for your character, the box itself is shared by account.

Craft: Can be used to make weapons and armor from Weaponsmiths and Armor Crafters in major towns.

Armor: Either crafted (better, since it can be customized with Runes and Insignias) or from collectors throughout the areas.

Weapons: Trade with players, find as drops, get from crafters.

welcome! and umm.... what campaign?

the "bank" or storage of guild wars are zaishen chests, but if you are starting in prophecies (main or original campaign) then you will not see a xunlai chest until you enter post.

weapons drop according to the level of the mobs you are killing, or you can buy from other people or weaponsmiths....
you can also trade certain colletor items for weapons and even armor
armor can be bought from armorers in most towns, and the farther along you are the better the armor rating, but there is a slight loophole if you are in the nightfalls campaigne. from kamadan you can easily get a ferry to consulate docks (usually 500 to 1k for ferry) where you can buy the best armor for your class

for the armor you'd better salvage money and get a max armor as fast as possible.

for the weapons, trade with players, take drops from foes, check some collectors on wiki, but the easiest way is this:http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/giveaways-f273.html take a look at giveaway section, u can find a lot of people giving away weapons for free

@OP.

Ignore Tender's post. Seriously, just ignore it.

Since you are just starting, max armor is NOT important, since the armor available from crafters and collectors scales with the difficulty of the area, which increases as you play through the game. Don't worry about getting "max" everything, but look around at the collectors and hold onto the drops they ask for if they have a weapon you want.

Always identify dropped items that are worth more than 20g to the merchant (and all blue, purple, and gold items no matter what the worth). When you get to post, you have the option of getting a special type of storage just for holding crafting materials, up to 250 of each.

But when just starting out, collectors and crafters are you best bet for weapons and armor.

Do NOT rely on giveaways, either from the forum or ingame. Begging (aka asking for free stuff) is HIGHLY frowned upon in game, and will likely result in you getting nothing at all. Anyone can make money just by playing through the game, so there is never any need to ask for money.

ummm no offense, but i don't see why not try to get in on freebies if people are handing them out

i agree it wouldn't be smart for the OP to beg for stuff, but taking advantage of a situation in which someone is giving stuff away is not really a bad idea

You will need to specify where you are. If you are still in pre-searing Ascalon, you do not need that good armor yet. Armorers are found in post sear immediately after you got out. You can find some better armor in pre by collecting drops and exchanging them, as you can too in post. This is a list of collectors: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_of_collector_armor

Next. GW wiki has a lot of information you can use. And guru here is very useful as well. Also, just google whatever and whenever problems occur. Usually, the answers are already posted somewhere.

For better skills:
1) Don't worry so much if you are still in tutorial.
2) Once you can capture elite skills, you will have more options. The builds found that are really good for many things usually have elite skills in the build. For the good builds, you can also look for them in guru or wiki or pvxwiki, etc.
3) Once you are out of pre, you will find the storage chests. Pay 50 gold for opening it and 50 for opening the crafting panel and you are set.

Yeah I'm still in ascalon just trying to upgrade some armours at the collectors some people helping me good and I got 2 bags now + new top and bottem working on boots now. When is a good time to go to the main world? I'm almost level 7 atm and i readed at some defence that it gives bonus if its hexed how can I get it hexed?

I'm playing Prophecies and also actived eye of the north.

If you are still in the green beautiful starting area of Prophecies, try to visit every outpost and every explorable area. Do every quest or at least try to. But if you feel you have seen every place, don't hesitate to leave. Your level doesn't matter - if you immediately leave after creating your character with level 1 or 2, you'd still be fine. The very first steps in the main world are not very difficult.

As a rule of thumb, you are in the right area if the enemies are the same level as you or up to 3 or 4 levels higher than you. Remember: you don't get any experience points if enemies are much lower than your level.

To be more specific - it sounds like you are in the starting area of Prophecies known as "Pre-searing". In there, there are no Xunlai chests and no armor crafters, and you won't get access to them until you leave pre-searing. (You will also get easy access to more "bags" to hold stuff, so don't pay hugh amounts for Charr Bags in Pre.)
There is a quest from Armin Saberlin, in Ascalon City, called "The Path To Glory" which takes you out of Pre and into Post-Searing, where the real game is. There are a few quests you have to do before you can take that quest, and my advice, for your first character through Pre, is to wait until you get to around level 7-9 to take that quest.
Meanwhile, save up any items and materials you will want in Post. You can check the Armor section of a wiki (http://www.guildwiki.org/Main_page) to see what materials you will need to get new armor in Post-searing Ascalon City.

Items that give a bonus "when hexed" give the bonus when YOU are hexed by an enemy, not when the item is hexed. A hex is a type of spell that some enemies can cast on you to make you lose health, interrupt you, slow your movement, or do other types of damage. This is not the best kind of bonus to have, since you don't normally want to be hexed if you can avoid it or remove it. The best kinds of bonuses are either unconditional (you always get the bonus) or have a condition of your health being over 50%.

Also, when you leave Pre-Searing, get your armor from the NPC named Corwen in Ascalon City, not the other armor crafter. Corwen's armor is better and it will take longer for you to outlevel it, so it's worth the slight extra cost.

Chances are your going to upgrade your armor several times as you play and this include inscriptions and runes. Most people wind up with several sets of armor once they can aquire max lvl armor. Each set is built for a certain area or skills they have equiped.

For example if you are always enchanted you might wish an 'armor while enchanted' inscription but if you change skills you might go with Raidant for extra energy.

Take your time as you progress and enjoy the story. Visit all of the collectors on each map to aquire better armor as you play. Doing this will save you a bit of money which you will need once you can purchase the max level armor and runes/inscriptions.

I recomend staying in Pre-Searing until your at least at lvl 10, which is very easy to reach now with the daily quest.

You can't get the daily quest until you are level 10, so it doesn't make it any easier to get to level 10. Originally you could tag along with a higher level character doing the quest and get the XP, but ANet fixed that so that the quest foes do not spawn if someone in the party is under level 10.

I recommend buying the armor in Ascalon City after you leave Pre rather than trying for collector armor. Collector armor does save money, but it takes forever to get the drops you need for some of the pieces because you will not be able to solo most of the foes, especially in low-level armor. The most important piece -- the chest -- requires four leathery claws, which are very hard to get from some very tough foes.

The level of the collector armor in Ascalon is 21 for a necro, while the level of the armor from Corwen in Ascalon City is 30, which is the same level as the armor available in Lion's Arch. So one set of armor from Corwen will last you through everything between Ascalon and Lion's Arch, and a bit beyond. It is worth spending 300g on.
